Hi welcome to our cleanfoodies channel, myname is Orly, and I'm going to show you how
I make a one ingredient tortilla, it's goingto be made of oats only, so it's gluten free,
I'm going to use quick oats, about one cup,and warm on the hot side water, you know it's
pretty warm but you can insert your fingersinside, in equal amounts, and some salt, I'm
going to whisk it, and basically I'm goingto let it rest for at least 15 minutes, what
we are gonna do, we are going to smear justa very thin layer of olive oil, I'm gonna
use just a piece of paper, to do that, youcan use spray if you want, and now we take
our oats, which have been soaked in water,and I'm going to mix them well, get this mixture
all bended together, ok I put my skillet ona medium warm hot heat, I don't want it to
burn, you see the mixture is pretty thick,it's a thick batter, and this is what we want,
this is exactly how we want it to look, okI'm going to scoop, place it in the middle
of my skillet, and now I'm just going to spreadit over, slowly, don't worry if it seems to
break, just continue spreading it over, itwill bind in the end, we are going to create
extremely pliable tortillas, so you can wrapthem up, you know anything you want, I want
you to see, you see there is a wet parts,we are gonna wait until everything becomes
dry and kind of transparent, and only thenI'm going to flip it over, these tortillas
don't need to be brown up, they can stay kindof pale, they just have to be cooked threw,
ok our tortillas are ready, you see how pliablethat it, how soft and it's really yummy, I'm
gonna make some more, and pass it over tothe plate, so our tortillas are ready, you
see how nice and pliable they are you canwrap anything with them, totally gluten free

Wheat is included in most of the food that we are eating, so when I decided that I want to eat as less gluten as possible I started looking for substitutions for wheat,. Then I found out that I can use oats instead of white flour in order to make tortillas which I like very much, so the oat tortillas tastes wonderful but also a lot healthier than the tortillas that are made out of white flour.
