This recipe includes your breakfast grain, protein, and fruit all in one - and you can make this ahead of time on the weekend to stay bright all week! This is also whole food plant based and great for anyone following Dr. Fuhrman's nutritarian die or the How Not to Die plan - for extra weight loss! Ingredients: 1. oz Old Fashioned Oatmeal 4 fl oz Almond milk (UNSWEETENED) 0.5 oz of walnuts 0.25 oz of flax seeds 0.25 oz of hemp seeds 1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon 1 fruit (we used 1/2 banana, 1/2 apple, but you could also add 6 oz of any berry) Instructions: Measure old fashioned oatmeal, almond milk, walnuts, flax seeds, hemp seeds, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon into a small mason jar. Stir, and leave in the refrigerator overnight (or up to a week). Before eating, add one serving of fruit. Heat in the microwave for 1 min or serve cold (our preference!) Connect with us!
